I like how unique this is in terms of its approach to giving you another tool to figure out what type of birth control is best for you…. I wish I’d had this earlier in my life, like in my 20’s, when I was trying out a bunch of different birth control methods.

Finding out my hormone levels and how that impacts/explains my current symptoms. Then getting a recommendation based on MY body's unique hormonal status so I can get relief from my symptoms and minimize side effects. This is such a great concept!

I loved how empowering the experience was! Finally, I could choose to get more information about my body to make the best decision about my wellbeing and my health. This is a groundbreaking turn in more accessible health information for people wanting to understand more about what contraceptive options will work best for their lives. And I was beyond thrilled to get to be part of the journey and movement that allows us to understand how hormones and genes interplay with contraceptive medication.

I found adyn because of the need to try to figure out what to do. If you go to any doctor, they don't have the specifics of what birth control you should use, and so much is trial and error. I wanted more answers and I don't have the time to sit through a billion doctors visits. You can only do so much trial and error. I think there's a need for something like this.

I admire your dedication to developing and promoting this test. As a science teacher of middle and high school students I am always recommending ways for parents to help their children. I have recommended genetic testing for medications to countless parents and friends. I have also begun to recommend this test after learning about it. It does not have to be as difficult as insurance and doctors make it to have answers before prescribing medications to developing brains that can have a detrimental effect if they are prescribing a medication that is not genetically compatible. I even had a student that took the genetic test for medications complete a research project on the topic during our genetics unit! Again, thank you!!!

Whether it’s someone just starting out on birth control, someone going through hormonal changes as we get older, or people going through transitions – The Birth Control Test is helpful for all of the things – it’s important. Everything was very simple and straightforward. I have a fear of blood, so I liked that adyn helped me through that. The Zoom with your team members was extremely helpful. The process was smooth, instructions were clear, and team members supportive!
